Hello

The first post of a new blog; I guess its the least important as nobody at all will read it on the day it is posted, yet perhaps it's also the most important since it will set my mood for writing. So what will I write? What will Narrow Talk be about?

One thing's for sure; it will be narrowboat themed. Narrow talk is principally our cruising log as we travel the UK canals, keeping friends and family in touch. Occasionally I will digress into totally unrelated topics, commenting in my own style on the sights and sounds which enter our lives as we move onwards.

Everything which appears here is but my own opinion, and should be read as such. I will strive to ensure that reports of actual events remain factual and am happy to publish your corrections, should I ever get it wrong.

So for now welcome! We will meet again.....
